Dakar, Senegal

I was blessed to be sent to Dakar, Senegal to participate the 2008 Partnership Forum. (An invitation to attend is one thing but to be chosen amongst the list and be sent to represent the Department is another). It was at the west-most part of Africa.

The place where I stayed was great (Hotel des Almadies).

I was hoping that my flight to Dakar, Senegal will be stopping over in Hong Kong and Paris. But, for some reason, I got the route via Dubai and Johannesburg. It was a blessing in disguise.
